Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using PDF Unlock ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PDF Unlock on up to two (2) personal Windows machines per purchased license. The license is perpetual for the version purchased.

3. Acceptable use

PDF Unlock removes owner restrictions from PDF files you are legally authorized to modify. You agree to use the Software only on PDFs you own, have permission to modify, or are otherwise legally entitled to unlock. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with copyright law and any contractual restrictions placed on the file.

PDF Unlock does not crack or remove user passwords (the password required to open a file). It removes only owner-level restrictions on PDFs you can already open.

4. Trial and purchase

A 14-day free trial is provided so you can evaluate the Software before purchase. After the trial, continued use requires a paid license. Pricing is shown on the website at the time of purchase.

5. Refunds

Because the Software is delivered digitally and you have a 14-day trial to evaluate it, all sales are final once a license key has been delivered, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

6. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
