Is this legal?

PDF Unlock is intended for PDFs you own or have permission to modify — removing restrictions on your own documents or working with files your team produced. Don't use it on documents you have no right to access.

Does it remove PDF passwords?

No. PDF Unlock does not crack or remove user passwords. It removes owner restrictions on PDFs you can already open, so you can print, copy, edit, and extract content freely.

Does it work on macOS, iOS or Android?

Not today. PDF Unlock is a Windows-only context menu integration for Windows 10 and 11. macOS, iOS and Android versions are on the roadmap.

How fast will I receive my license key?

Keys are sent to your PayPal email address, typically within a few minutes of payment. If you don't see it after 30 minutes, check spam or contact us.

Will my PDF files get uploaded anywhere?

Never. All unlocking happens locally on your machine. PDF Unlock does not require an internet connection to process files.

Can I install it on multiple computers?
